Bored of work, sitting at my desk, my thoughts turn to coins and the Langbord lawsuit.

Wishing that I could take a "mental health day" and spend it at a large coin show here in Nor. Cal. [Santa Clara is on the horizon and isn't a national show going to be held in Sacramento next month?] brousing the bourse for my next acquistion and talking with dealers and collectors I know.
Regarding Langbord, no new filings in the court case as of yesterday.
I can envision the case ramping up on both sides and a flurry of activity taking place [reviewing newly discovered documents and information; evaluating same (legally, historically, financially, managerially, operationally, forensically, etc.); and deciding what, if anything, to do with same in the context of a trial], some of which will only serve to make any eventual trial more ........................... "interesting" than it already proposes to be.

Thanks for the list of shows. Unfortunately I am going to be out of town (and even out of state) for the next three weekends.

<< <i>When all is said and done how will this case rank in legal history; ho hum, much ado about nothing or it doesn't get any better than this? >>
The answer is probably based on what happens at the end of the case!

If they were my coins I would never had sent them to the mint in the first place.
I firmly believe in numismatics as the world's greatest hobby, but recognize that this is a luxury and without collectors, we can all spend/melt our collections/inventories.
