first 300

This is one of my other hobbies. I am a bowler. Had a 286 on Monday then rolled my first 300 on Thursday. Have bowled for 41 years, so this is the equilvivant of buying your first gold coin after collecting for 41 years.

WTG. That is awesome. I had my only 300 back in 1999, rolled a 279 in another house in Travel league 3 days later. The night I rolled the 300, I beat my opponent in Scratch league 715 to 713 by picking up the 2-10 in the 10th frame. Never been that good since though. Started bowling with Duck Pins in Conn. in the 60's

Congratulations.......

Never had a sanctioned 300... had 5 in open play/matches/pot games........

High in league was 289 a few times... High series 756.....

Hold record for lifetime triplicates.....

Been unable to bowl for several years due to injury... Hope to someday to try it again......

I think I would be buying a big gold coin after bowling a 300. My high score even on Wii is only 256.

great bowling guys. I was so worn out from adrenalin flow that the best I could do was 193 and 194. Average last year was 215. down to 207 this year but coming back.

I will never live to see a 300. 206 is the best I have ever done...

olmanjon I had the same thing happened on the Game after the 300, I could hardly hold the ball and tossed a 186 for that 715 series, my avg was 202 at the time. High series is 749. strange thing is, I have a dozen or more 279's and nothing between them and my 300. Several Verapopa 300's, but never sanctioned 11 in a row.

Mickystrike, that is some serious Pro bowling statistics. Are you a tour player.

Mikeystrike-I am not even in the same league as you my friend. 29 300's is awesome. I have been on a ride this year. A 286-290-300 and had a 278 with 742 series last night. Had 6 ten pins. If they go I have a 878 series. LOL

Congrats on the 300s!

My best was a 278 on a 183 avg (706 set).

Like Boz, I grew up on Duck Pins in central Connecticut - 239 hi game, 599 set, 127 avg (17 years ago).
