Good news but let's see how long it lasts.

It looks like a good time for me to lock in some SLV ETF profits. It wasn't pretty two weeks ago when silver was selling for about $26.50 an ounce. image

    Maybe.

But, if you already lived thru that, you might wanna
wait a few days. That is especially true, if you are
likely to be enticed back in if upward mo continues.

I've got a buddy sitting on a pile of cash waiting for silver to drop to $18, then he says he'll buy.

"Good luck", I tell him, "You'll never see $18 again".

Personally, I think $30 may hold.

When silver shot through the $20's in three months, the expected usual correction that should have followed would have taken silver down to the low twenties or high teens.

That never happened. We just had a short-lived, mild correction.

I'm starting to think we'll be lucky to see $25 again.

I'm not inclined to sell a single ounce of silver at this juncture. My opinion is that I'd be nuts to do that.image

I have a few on ebay now but my price is high enough that when I do sell one I really don't mind, I just buy some more at todays price.

Well, I took the profit just before the close. Maybe I'll miss a big move but I've seen too many plunges when silver gets above $31.

When you consider your fees to sell and then re-buy on such a short drop it is hardly worth the effort. I feel it is better to just sell a few things at a higher price than they are worth and re-buy at a sale that is going off at the wrong time.

before you guys get too excited, consider this.I have bought a bagful of sae s,canadian silver wolf coins, chinese panda silver and a few other foreign silver one ouncers. All in the 32-33 dollar range.so needless to say silver will hover below 30 dollars until after I sell them at a loss.
Or is there a chance that silver will rise to 35 or 40 dollars??

I'd like to sell my stash at just the right time and use the cash to help buy a little piece of land...50 to 100 Acres.

Hopefully it will peak later in the year when I think I'll be ready. GO SILVER !

    worth about 5K right now.
