I'm curious as to where to sell decent misc. jewelry for a fair price with diamonds included.
I hate to try & pop them out just to send the gold in for scrap.

same here, I have some old junk jewelry that has diamonds I plan on removing
1/4 kt
and 1/2 kt

Pawn Shop is often 50-cents to $1.00 per point for
items under a carat.

If you have a tiny jeweler in your area, he might be
willing to give you a little more in trade if he needs
what you have.

I buy diamonds but there is no way to quote values without having them in hand and under the loupe. Small stuff is available cheap cheap cheap.
