Somebody refresh my memory on what a "Henning nickel" is.

The phrase seems familiar, and yet I'll be danged if I can remember what it is.

And other year's as well ... but it was the 1944 without the "P" mintmark on the reverse that was the first alert to the authorities.

if im not mistaken, I bought one or 2 from you richie, and they were best in what I found.

luckily none of my good stuff was robbed when the house was broken into, as all was hiden in plain site

Does anyone have (or has anyone ever seen) a higher grade example of one of these? The few that I've come across over the years have all been lower grade examples like those shown in this thread. I'd love to see what a "Henning Mint State" coin looks like.
