Clemente RC....Auth or PSA 1?

So, I am thinking of submitting my Clemente RC. I have two questions....
For your PC, would you prefer Auth or PSA1?
Which do you think is better for resale? Auth or PSA1?

Thanks

A numerical grade is what I would prefer, potential price differences are hard to figure. Maybe a VCP subscriber will chime in with some data.

    Nice card, has some character.
  • For a card like the one pictured, I would say numerical grade is the way to go. "Authentic" sometimes shows higher on VCP due to very nice trimmed/altered cards getting slabbed as authentic (they can't receive a numerical grade). Usually these cards are more eye-appealing to a beat-up PSA 1.

  • go with the "1"

  • I would also go with a PSA 1

I bet that card was gorgeous back in the day. Not to say it doesn't have character now! IMO I would just send it in and see what happens. It will look better slabbed either way.

I didn't mean any negativity; your card looks beautiful, nicely center.
