  spotting that develops after grading on silver eagles can be a problem for the owner and can seriously affect resale value. Ensure coins show no spotting before you buy them. If buying on ebay ask seller before purchase and through ebay message system if coins show any spotting. If he replies with a "no" and coins get delivered with spots, file an "item not as described" claim to get a refund if seller will not refund on his own. Check ebay completed sales to see what others are paying.

  I would not be concerned with any spotting on silver eagle bullion coins bought strictly for their value as silver.
