  Your picture is of the poorest quality to make any determination of what the marks are exactly.
  
  That's the chance you take scanning the coin instead of using a camera.

  They are not 'cuds' at all.
  
  A cud must involve the edge of the die.
  
  These are simply die chips; fairly common
  on numerous 2007 dies; some are known
  with dramatic massive die cracks too.
