    Congratulations!

My daughter was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes at the age of 2 (2003). My son was diagnosed with Type 1 when he was 17 on December 31, 2009. We were stunned that another child of ours had been diagnosed. Please, if you don't have a favorite charity, consider giving to the JDRF (Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation)

WoW! Congratulations on your find and the sale results!

This is something most of us dream of happening! imageimage
  • Thanks for all the great comments on the sale! I am absolutely amazed by all of this. Never in a million years did I expect to get anywhere near this much for these cards. It has been more fun than I have ever had in all of my years of collecting.

A few years ago i was unemployed and had to sell one of my most favorite cards, a 1952 Topps Jackie Robinson PSA 5. I plan on finding a replacement for that card as it left a hole in my collection.

I am so glad so many of you enjoyed watching the results.

I think I only have one card left to sell out of the lot. I have a deal in the works for 3 of them off of eBay and will most likely put the Spook Jacobs on shortly, since it is also very scarce and only 1 of 2 known to exist and in way better shape than the other.

I will keep you posted on what happens there.

  • << <i>Why didn't you run separate auctions on the 2 unknowns to maximize your sale price?By the way congrats on one hell of a find. >>

Well I guess it didn't matter by the ending price.Congrats and enjoy your new 1952 Topps Robinson.
  • Sold the remaining 4 off of eBay. They are all packed up and on there way to Texas.

Congrats! Wow I was truly just a watcher on this and am very happy for you. Good luck finding that PSA 5 Jackie to replace the one you sold.

Where's the Spook Jacobs? I thought you were going to list it on Ebay.
