My daughter was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes at the age of 2 (2003). My son was diagnosed with Type 1 when he was 17 on December 31, 2009. We were stunned that another child of ours had been diagnosed. Please, if you don't have a favorite charity, consider giving to the JDRF (Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation)

Thanks for all the great comments on the sale! I am absolutely amazed by all of this. Never in a million years did I expect to get anywhere near this much for these cards. It has been more fun than I have ever had in all of my years of collecting.
A few years ago i was unemployed and had to sell one of my most favorite cards, a 1952 Topps Jackie Robinson PSA 5. I plan on finding a replacement for that card as it left a hole in my collection.
I am so glad so many of you enjoyed watching the results.
I think I only have one card left to sell out of the lot. I have a deal in the works for 3 of them off of eBay and will most likely put the Spook Jacobs on shortly, since it is also very scarce and only 1 of 2 known to exist and in way better shape than the other.
