A Colorful Stone Mountain I Picked up in 2009

I bought this from Wayne Herndon at the June, 2009, Baltimore show. It has some wonderful color, namely a rose/pink obverse with a bright swath of green and other intense colors on the left side, all accented with really strong lustre. As is often said, the colors are even better in hand; I'd love to shoot this one outside the slab.

Interesting die clash on the reverse. I see a lot of added stars under the motto between 10 and 12 o'clock. I am sure as good as you are at photos it is better in hand!

Very nice commemorative half, nice color.......

If you've never seen Stone Mountain in person........its huge !! As a boy in the early 60's we went and took a ride to the top, nice Civil War museum there also.
