Is your response because of the history of the poster or because of a coins certification status (i.e. NGC certification)? This clarification may be useful in helping you find your result. Nice NGC pieces can be found/crossed to PCGS holders.
Actually that is a consignment coin so this is not part of the Mike delafo auction...just to clarify as I have probably two dozens auctions running with only 6 coins as part of that auction
I wonder what is the difference in year dates for colors? I have a 1952 S Washington that is golden/grey straighton, but at an angle it becomes golden/rose both sides. No other toned 1952 washingtons have I seen many(if any of). Just curious. Jim

Oh the complexities...... the availability of colorful dimes, quarters, halves from 47-58 depends primarily on the quality of toning that came out of the corresponding mint sets - and this varied dramatically from year to year.
I won Kryptos auction for that 52-d i have been TRYING to find any coin dated 1952, my birth year for several years now. I am hard pressed to find much. I have only found the 3 nickels, 2 dimes, 1 quarter and 0 cents. I have 2 Franklin halves and 1 BTW comem. Good luck, as you may have more luck finding a needle in a haystack. Not to steal a thread but if anyone has anything nicely toned 1952 other than a 52-d dime, drop me a PM
Same here guys, I'm looking for attractive '52 pieces as well. It's my father's birth year and I've been trying to find some nice stuff, it's been tough for the date.
I do have these and plan on selling them besides the Reverse toned roosie and washington.

who would have thought that in nearly a month -
this post produced not a single offer for a very pretty toned PCGS MS 66 piece ..........
I have the entire run 1946 - 1964 P,D, and S
in fully toned , as colorful as possible , PCGS MS 66 coins ............
except for a splendid example of a 52-D !
The other poster that gave this thread a bump looks to be an amateur con man , I could be wrong on that though ........

Gonna have to bump the price up to $500 to get the monsters out of hiding.
I somehow missed getting it , as it would have filled the spot until somebody offers me a colorful one at over 3X that level .........
