Even better I'm using my father-in-law's wireless image

Anyone else get new technology for Christmas? My youngest daughter suggested that I could use this for my "coin thing"

    << <i>how does it compare to a powerbook? >>

    I don't know power-wise but it's much smaller.

    They're great aren't they?

When I got mine I thought it was going to be a weekend toy. Eight months later I still don't travel without it.

We got one today. I've been using an iPOD Touch for about a year or so now, this is going to open up a lot more possibilities.

I use both (typing on PowerBook right now). IPad is more portable, due to its small size, and great for reading, music, videos, checking email, and internet browsing. It's the first thing I pick up in the morning and last thing I put down at night--though getting some competition of late from the Kindle I rec'd as a holiday gift. The iPad is not so great for real projects, managing photos, spreadsheets, lengthy letters or notes, managing music and playlists, banking/finance apps, and tax preparation.

i bought an iphone 4 a few months back and while the screen is small compared to the ipad it really packs in the features. photograde app, ebay app, the list goes on and on. we got navigation/HD camcorder/full web/music library and an endless list of other features. and i`m sure the ipad blows this away. there`s no going back.image

funny, picked my sis up from airport earlier and she said she was putting her bag under seat on plane and there was a dusty Ipad under there...she turned it in...the crew seemed shocked that it was under there, probably awhile since it was dust covered.

Agree with all the positive comments and so does America!
I have been an Apple fan for many years. In our household, we have one of each Imac desktop, Ipad, iphone, multiple ipods.
These purchases and many coins were funded entirely by the profits made on Apple stock/options in 2010.
I do not work for Apple just a believer that Apple products are amazing and Steve Jobs is the best CEO
    in the world.
