Opinions on a possible bump...

So here is a quick story with a happy ending....
I missed my mailman so I received the pink slip in my mailbox on Monday, so Tuesday morning I went to the post office to pick up my package. Problem was that they could not find my package, they asked what size the package was, where it came from, they even asked if someone else could have picked it up! I asked if that was even possible, if the person did not have the pink slip or the proper ID, and they said that it WAS possible. I was trying very hard to be nice, but the mailman had this package in his hand on Monday and one day later they can't find it. I gave them my phone number and asked them to call me when they find it. A few hours later, I call back and they still haven't found it. Then a couple hours after that, they call me and tell me that they STILL haven't found it. The NEXT (Wednesday) day I call again and this time they say they have FOUND it!! I was very excited, so I jump in the car to pick up my package and this is what was inside:
1960 Topps PSA 8

Possibility of a bump? I'm not completely sure, the bottom two corners look a little soft, but is that enough to keep it in an 8 or could it get to an 8.5?

<< <i>That is really great centering on that card!!!!! That being said, I would examine those bottom two corners closely. Maybe it is just the scan....but be honest with yourself on the condition of those two corners. That is what looks like made it an 8 to begin with. If the main condition for the half grade bump is centering, then you have to try it at least once! Were you plans to send it in for review or crack it out? >>
Thank you all for your opinions. I do not plan on cracking it out. Since it's a older flip, I thought I would send it in for a review. Is the VCP from an 8 to an 8.5 worth it?

You asked for opinions ... I looked for reasons why it would possibly NOT bump ... some may be a stretch:
1. As others have mentioned, a couple of soft corners.
2. The way you have the card positioned in the picture, is there a SLIGHT diamond cut along the left edge going from top to bottom?
3. Not sure if they are all printed like this, but does the orange bleed a little onto the white border on the bottom left?
AGAIN, I looked HARD to find possible faults. Congrats on the card and I am glad the USPS found it for you!!!

Liquidating my collection for the 3rd and final time. Time for others to enjoy what I have enjoyed over the last several decades. Money could be put to better use.

<< <i>I can't imagine that card has not already been sent in for review. Not sure if it has been mentioned before but when a card does not bump does it come back in the same holder or do they replace the flip to note it was sent in after .5 grades were started? >>
Ralph, If a card is submitted for a bump and does NOT recieve the bump, it will come back in the same holder it was submitted in. If you have the card recased in the process of going for the bump, the card will have a new flip to reflect the new grading system, with the grade at the bottom of the assigned grade.
I do plan on getting the card reviewed, I also have a '63 that I purchased from Matt (MBMiller) that I will also send in for a bump. It can't hurt to try one time. Is it true that if it does not bump that they will tell you the reasons why? I hope that is the case. Also, if anyone is sending cards in for review let me know, I don't have a membership so I would need some help in that area.
Merry Christmas everyone!

<< <i>Paul, between you and I, it was a 61 Musial i sold you, not a 63. >>
Thanks for keeping that private. My 63 is a PSA 7, don't think it would bump to an 8.5!
