    Already?! Just in conversations yesterday we were hoping he'd make it through until the new year. Another sad one...

    He was "coingame2000" on this forum. Mike had been fighting cancer for a few years and his health had turned for the worse early this year.

    I never knew him personally, but several collectors who were regular customers of his always had good things to say about him. A tough loss for his family, especially at this time of year. RIP

    PNG member, numismatic dealer since 1965. Operates a retail store, also has exhibited at over 1000 shows.
    I firmly believe in numismatics as the world's greatest hobby, but recognize that this is a luxury and without collectors, we can all spend/melt our collections/inventories.

    That is tragic. Mikey loved his toned dollars and was an enthusiastic bass fisherman. We would always have a lively conversation at many of the smaller SoCal shows that we did together.

    Mike was one of the first dealers that I ever really got to know to any degree. He was partners with Mike Kliman when I first met him and he was very enthusiastic that I had taken up collecting after a long hiatus. He was always helpful and tried to teach and coach and give advice if I came to ask. We did a few deals over the years and was always great.

    I will miss him.

    Mike was another friend that I haven't spoken with in some time. He was an extremely faithful, fun-loving, and kind person.

    I sold several beautifully toned coins to MIke at the Santa Clara show.
    He was the underbidder for a monster toned Oregon commem that realized 60K+ several years back at the live Santa
    Clara Heritage auction.

    I am so very sadden to hear the news about Mike, he was one of the most knowledgeable coin dealers out there when it came to PL, DMPL, and Toned Morgan's. I had many conversations with him about coins and how he would buy bags of DMPL Morgan's back in the 70's. I have 5 Top Pop coins in my Registry Set thanks to Mike, he was a professional all the way.
