Question about eBay Seller's Response Time To Questions

What should be a reasonable response time for a seller that has current auctions on
eBay when under these circumstances. I talking about a well established seller with
lots of positive feedback and any number of curren auctions.

When asking a question about a certain auction

When the auction has "make an offer" to accept or counter offer

When an auction ends with a "buy it now" and the seller states in the auction that if buying
several auctions the shipping charges are different so wait for an invoice from them

The last one is what is bothering me. It's been two days and my two request for a total and nothing.
So now that's two days that the coins could have been sent and I'm still waiting to pay for them.
What the heck ??

I would say 1-2 days tops. Not every one is on their computer all the time.

When a seller wants to take his sweet time in relieving me of my hard earned money, that's fine with me. After several days of waiting for an invoice it does get annoying though. 2 or 3 days is long enough to wait between communications. Request an invoice again or drop him a message.
The "make an offer" offers stand for 48 hours and are accepted, rejected or expire.
Change that we can believe in is that change which is 90% silver.

Many people travel for the Holidays maybe the case this time of year.

And statements in auctions are usually templates that they use all the time.

And it probably will not make much difference as the mail system is clogged right now. Stuff I sold a month age toke two days to arrive, stuff I sold last weekend has not got there yet.

If during business hours, an hour or less.

I'd have thought before close of business on the day the question was asked.Ebay being 24/7 i'd look to see time zones and figure those in.I look on it as if somebody is going to set up an auction whether as a dealer or a part time once in a while thing they really should be checking emails on a daily basis while the auction runs and more so on the final day.
