Got another phone call from "the coin store" in NJ

They call about once a month with "rare" coins they get from estate sells. The first few calls were to hock some Franklins guaranteed to be in MS63
as graded by their experts. I hang up on them when they call. Today, however, I listened to see what the pitch was. I could get a, limit of 3 per customer,
$2.5 Indian for only $890. They pick the date and mint mark with no grade range specified. I told him I only collect graded PCGS coins in 67 or higher.
That pretty much put an end to pitch and hopefully and end to the phone calls.

$890... that's quite the profit margin. Hope they don't get too many takers :

They call me every month. Each time they call I ask them to stop. It appears they do not have a "don't call list".

I received two calls today, one may have been the same guys as yours, from an estate sale he had some Franklins. The second was Liberty Coin from here in Michigan, he had a fantistic deal for me on some Peace dollars, 1921? Thet were only $300 or $400 graded MS64. When I told him no thanks I have a bunch, sent a few in and they came back MS62-MS63 and I paid $12 for them he hung up on me image

I get a call from that guy at The Coin Store about every month or two, and each time ask to be removed from his call list. This latest time, at first opportunity I interrupted him and said, "You guys are just taking the money from your sales of classic coins and turning right around and buying new U.S. Mint products 'cause you know that it's a better investment, correct?" He said "NO!". Then without taking a breath I said something like "Sure you are, you've gotta be" and began a laundry list of the many benefits of owning various types of new U.S. Mint products. Unable to interrupt, he gave up. We'll see next month if I've finally been taken off that list.
