US Coin Guy needs help with these...

Can anyone tell the the value of these coins? I know there are some different strikes within some of these dates but not sure of the differences.

The large 1938 penny, I do not know what this coin is, if someone can help me with that?

Also, I have no clue what the 2 cent? piece is from 1894 is??

Thanks,

Bstat

The 1938 large penny is British, made of bronze. It's common in this grade, so no real collector value is attached to it (unless BU).

I'll have to leave your question on the other piece to someone else...

The 1949 coin is from West Germany and the 1894 coin looks to be 2 Heller from Austria

Here is the obverse of the 1949(left) and the 1894 (right).

    Any value in the 1894?

    Thanks guys!

The ones that say "Canada" are from Canada imageimage

Seriously, though, what they said. All neat coins, but pretty common and nothing high value. These are the sort of things you might find in a neighborhood dealer's junk box. The German one is neat because it is from the first postwar issue and is a 2 year type - where it says "bank deutscher lander".. after that brief issue it's read "bundesrepublik deutschland". The Canadian quarter is silver, 0.1500 ASW - so worth a bit for that at least.

Canada means Canadian... got it!image For the Canadians I slightly remember different strikes in the dates that are pictured??

The others I just did not know what they were.

What years are Canadians silver? 80% right?

    50c: 80% 1920 - 1967
    25c: 80% 1920 - 1967
25c: 50% 1967 - 1968 (some 1967 are 50%, some are 80% - no visible way to tell... and they weigh the same)
    10c: 80% 1920 - 1967
    10c: 50% 1967 - 1968 (same deal as 25c for 1967)
    5c: 80% 1920 - 1921

    Older coins are 92.5%
