Ebay Question

OK,

Here is what happened. The guy has lots of Game Used stuff for sale. bats, Gloves & Batting Gloves. Says he has access to clubhouses over the last few years. Everything looks good & legit so I decide to bid on a pair of A-rod game used batting gloves. They are Nike gloves with the Arod logo on the strap & # 13's embroidered on each glove. He has (4) pairs in different conditions for sale. I win the auction for $78 bucks. I think this is a great deal for a pair of gloves.

I pay in like 30 seconds like I always do. & the next day I see that he refunded my payment & I can't get a response back why or if it was a mistake, I still have the item in my-ebay list & its telling me I stil have to pay.

I am thinking maybe he didn't get the price he as was looking for. But if thats the case he should have started the bidding higher. It was going to be a gift not I have to re-group & find something else.

Ahhhghhh E-bay

If he didnt explain, You have to NEG.

He may have listed something that he previously sold (Ive done that), but if he doesnt explain right away, give him a NEG!

Even though you didnt actually ask a question the answer is neg that fool and out him here.
  • Here are the replies I recieved back today.
If they wanted more $$ they should have started the budding a little higher than .99...........

The $ was refunded as gloves were consigned and does not want to sell at that very low price as paid much more than that not willing to sell and all the ebay fees not worth it. sorry!

    Dear wsohl1208,

I sold a bat on ebay and someone who won it at a very low ridiculous price wanted to cancel transaction as they thought paid to much that made the person with arod gloves not happy and if they can do that then was gonna keep things that went for 2-3 times less than what paid than sell for peanuts on ebay. If u wanted a pair of arod gloves would sell for 130.00 shipped and is still losing over 40.00 after all the fees, shipping, and cost of gloves. Look at what peple afre trying to get for there's many, many hundreds of dollars!! If u decide to send the 130.00 to same paypal address as did before will make sure u get a the nicer pair of used gloves and if not sorry!

At least he replied back. I won'e be getting the gloved even though 130 for a pair of arod gamers is really cheap. I just dont truct the guy after this....................

I wouldn't send him a dime. He's a scum bag. Neg him and buy elsewhere.

May I ask why you didn't neg this guy but left him a neutral?

This is why people continue to pull that shiat on eBay. :/

To add I would have been concerned in the first place that he was selling bogus stuff. I guess ya found out the stuff is real.

I still have no idea what this was all about.

    Good for you.
  • I agree about the Neg. But because he gave me a quick refund & actually responded to my questions I just gave the Neutral.

I never gave a neg yet & for some reason just could not do it there either. I don't know why they didn't just set a reserve or higher starting price. He had a nice selection of stuff just didn't know how to sell it image

I sold a very rare PSA 8 graded card that was a pop 1 for only $3.....I wish as a seller, I could still neg the buyer for winning to card so cheaply and not paying me what it was really worth.....
