A fake Stone Mountain is a tough counterfeit to find -- I have heard of several that sold for more than a genuine piece in 63 or 64. Collectors trying to put together a complete set of the "old" fakes usually have trouble with the Stone Mountain and Antietam fakes.

I chuckled and thought of RickO when I read this from the seller: "The coin is only tarnished."

Are they really this stupid, or are they destroying the dollar on purpose?
