I took a few to Baltimore to submit but decided the risk (of loss) and cost (of shipping) wasn't worth it.
"My friends who see my collection sometimes ask what something costs. I tell them and they are in awe at my stupidity." (Baccaruda, 12/03).I find it hard to believe that he (Trump) rushed to some hotel to meet girls of loose morals, although ours are undoubtedly the best in the world. (Putin 1/17) Gone but not forgotten. IGWT, Speedy, Bear, BigE, HokieFore, John Burns, Russ, TahoeDale, Dahlonega, Astrorat, Stewart Blay, Oldhoopster, Broadstruck, Ricko.
Nine small cents and a large cent. One more is a top pop 3/0 so if I send it in, they will automatically include it. Three more are OGH and condition census, so no images on those. There are also at least four or five others that I have owned but sold that are in there.
I felt PCGS blew a tremendous public relations/customer service opportunity when they asked us to submit coins for the coin facts and have US pay for the Trueviews. For once they should have thrown us a bone and asked for our coins to be submitted, photographed, and listed for free as a bonus/reward/ego stroke/ whatever as being participants in the registry.

Just one. MS 68 Cheerios Sacagawea. I see the tiny scratch in the reverse field every time I look at it in photos and in hand. I never saw the reverse of the coin before PCGS did. It was also the first one PCGS took out of the "blister pack" for grading. At that time there were only 2 MS 68's. There are more in the population report since that time (April '07). There are supposedly 5500 according to mint records. To date, there are fewer than 100 known. I won't post the photo because I don't want to ruin a perfectly good thread with modern crap.

That's interesting. I had assumed that all of the photos were TrueViews, but upon further review, there does seems to be a variety of photography styles.

I sent my 1909 Mint Set in for imaging under the PCGS condition census offer they recently promoted. I got photos of them put up on CoinFacts almost a month ago, but still no TrueView photos. I'm told I will get them though... must be a lot of extra work?
As I mentioned in another thread, I have seen one of my Lincoln varieties (1947 s/s FS-504) in the CoinFacts inventory that I neither submitted a picture or authorized a photo to be taken. I'm flattered, but does the fine print say they have the right? Besides that one, I have probably another 20 top pop/near top varieties that I need to offer up. Shag
I found these two when I checked today. Trueview photographs of 1842 $2.50's must be scarce as my F12 is the lowest grade PCGS has ever assigned for that date.
I now have two Bust Halves showing on CoinFacts. The first one is a coin I sent in for regrade, and it earned a higher grade, then showed up on CoinFacts. I was never offered a free picture, even though PCGS is using my coin in CoinFacts. The other, I recently bought, after seeing it in CoinFacts. I never have paid for the TruView service.
I collect Capped Bust series by variety in PCGS AU/MS grades.

I am obviously a fan of true view images.
