New PCGS Slab?

A friend of mine just put up some coins on ebay, that he got slabbed in Paris. This is one listing of a group here You will notice these are edge view type and the first that I have seen of them. Anybody else know anything about this? Waiting for Ron Guth to get up so I can ask himimage Just curious.

Is this any different than what they (PCGS) has been using on edge lettered SAC & Presidential Dollars for a couple of years now?

It looks the same to me.

A friend of mine is waiting for some Paris graded coins anyday now, I'll see them and let you know. I too am sending my first batch over there: the graders are coming back in early December just in time for our Xmas presents! image

I highly recommend that Ebay seller. I have gotten several very high grade coins from them. Including a nice BU 1818 Hannover Mariengroschen eye popper just last month.

Why not? Guys, if we count the total number of posts from members that joined before 2004, this place would have long been shut down. We've all become semi yeti or lazy lurkers. image

Did you win that San Marino? Because it closed quite cheap. Otherwise he did good on his Greek coins.

The slabs look great, if I were you I'd crossgrade my entire collection of NGC slabbed coins. image

If you look carefully, the new slab allows you to see the edges of the coin.

Nice one, and for one dollar! Ooops wait, I see no bids at all! image

So I take it that the other half didn't make the crossover? image
