Is it worth it? (Modern dollar rolls)

I had a friend at a bank call me and say that somebody brought in 10 original bank-wrapped rolls of Washington dollar coins. I know they trade for more than face but would you net anything buying them, finding a buyer and shipping them? Inquiring minds want to know.

Not much value in the rolls. Tear them open and look for missing edges and
errors.

I wouldn't think these would go for more than face. Perhaps the rolls sold directly from the US Mint in the special US Mint paper go for more than face.

I've been wondering the same, as to value.

Between state quarter rolls and $ rolls I'm sitting on about $2500 in "change".

Thinking about diggin them out and buying gold.

These don't trade for more than face (the Mint still has original rolls available for face through their Direct Ship program).

I deposited $1,000 face value of UNC statehood quarters the other day. I even emptied "mint wrapped" partial rolls into the bag. The girl at the bank had strong arms, but nobody has strong enough hands for moderns in bulk, do they ?

Man I was just debating this weekend on just spending the roll of each of the first 3 years of prezbucks I have. Just the ones you can get from the bank, the white rolls.

$300 that I've forgotten about could be a fun trip to the B&M, or keep me away from the ATM for a bit (which I like to do with my winnings - up $510 since last Thurs!). But, at this point, they're there for cash reserve I guess.

Is it worth it? (Modern dollar rolls)
