If it is a contemporary fake it is quite desirable. I don't know enough about these but it looks modern to me. The lower part of Liberty seems too well defined, not consistent with circulation wear.

I was going to say AU details - net grade of "fake."

Looks like it has been fumbling around in circulation for about 20 total yrs, but then again they probably have a process to help it along today.

it is a contemporary counterfeit, and a very good one considering it was made from hand cut dies. to the person interested in these, this is a hell of a score. most of the known examples of this fake are in white metal, this one being plated copper and very high grade, makes it very desirable. much more so than if it was genuine.
