1947 D/S Washington???

Posted this coin a long time ago but the pics were just not clear enough. Now I have a new camera and it still looks like a 1947 D/S Washington.

Not a strong area on the die.
I think it is a die chip in there.

I can't imagine an S with the crossbar being soo thin... still, it is intriguing...

It may be a manatou, a gitchie manitou. Wait and see if it grows.

If it does...quickly spend it. Trust me.

I found 7 or so of these in one original roll... sure looks like a D/S but likely too insignificant to be proven.

Maybe you discovered a new RPM. It looks like a possible "S" mint mark to me.

I found some like that and sent it in..Don't waste your money,they sent back as die chip and not D/S

Definitely a die chip. As Bushmaster stated the "S" is way too thin.
