Just thought I'd share...

These have been sitting for decades, I take them out and look at them every year or so.

I used to be somebody, now I'm just a coin collector.
Recipient of the coveted "You Suck" award, April 2009 for cherrypicking a 1833 CBHD LM-5, and April 2022 for a 1835 LM-12, and again in Aug 2012 for picking off a 1952 FS-902.

    Was the blue roosie (the '48) blue when it went into the album, or white - e.g. was it the album what turned it blue?

    As I recall, it was light blue to begin with, but has darkened considerably.

    Dansco. I bought this with the coins already in it several years ago. They had just started toning then and are progressing along nicely.
    I used to be somebody, now I'm just a coin collector.

    I have a few nickels still in the albums that have toned. Some are sweet looking but they are in a library of coins album which imo produces some nice toners! Those you have in the dansco are some real nice lookers!

    Interesting....I bought a complete BU Roosy Dansco album a few years, with toning starting at the time, and still progressing.
    However, most of them are all crescent toned, generally of the side of the coin along an edge of a page, top, outside, etc.
    The coins in the center of the pages are staying a lot whiter.
