What would you do at your PO in this situation...

I put this here, because it matters for both pm's and coins. I also figured I would get a broader response here then the PM forum. Went to the P.O. the other day to pick up my mail, and hopefully a REGISTERED package that was mailed to me. I check my box, and sure enough, the slip is in it.
Hand the postal worker the slip. He immediately says "Ahhh... the brick" and walks away.
He comes back... "Im guessing its either boat anchors or silver bars, and based on the size..."
I didnt say a word, but im assuming the look on my face tells him that he is correct.
"Do you mind me asking how much you paid?"
"$206 each"
"10 ozers! Nice!"
We went on to talk for a few minutes and I guess he is into it as well! Kinda SERIOUSLY threw me off for a bit there.
Should I be worried about sending things in the future and go to a different P.O. and get a new box for pm/coins... or not worry about it since things are insured? I would really appreciate some advise here.

I've been told I tolerate fools poorly...that may explain things if I have a problem with you. Current ebay items - Nothing at the moment
In honor of the memory of Cpl. Michael E. Thompson
since registered gets signed at every move, it would be traced to there
tell him not to talk so loud or with co-workers.

Indeed. About 80% of your future purchases should be 'decoy' iron ingots. This will further reduce the chances of theft.

Me too. Well, maybe for the Porsche.
Lance.
They haven't made comments since that incident. I was polite but absolutely non-interested in engaging in a non-professional relationship with the Postal worker.
No offense taken on their side and I maintained my safe distance.
I have friends that still insist on having PM's and Coin Mags delivered to their home address, after being robbed.
You made the first wise step of using the POB. In the future, use the same judgement when discussing the contents of your packages and your concerns will be lessened.

1. You, and other form members, are not the only ones in the world familiar with numismatic and PM transactions. I'm not sure if that common assumption is naive or snobbish. Or both.
2. Postal uniforms are not, contrary to popular belief, interchangeable with prison stripes. Postal workers are both honest, and supervised. And if they know your package is valuable, they are likely to watch each other.
3. Those forum members who think they can pick up registered package after registered package at the post office and have the workers think he is a struggling bookkeeper getting deliveries of documents is fooling nobody but himself.
My post office is noisy and some of the employees have English as a second language. When I insure a package (lately lots in the 3k range) I often have to repeat is 2 or 3 times and then say "no, not $39.50, Three Thousand nine hundred and fifty". I then snicker at the heart palpitations that some forum members would be having.
