The rims look really nicked in these pics.
If they are as they look to me, this one might not gem.
Some coins are just plain "Interesting"

65 at most due to the rims.

I thought this was the norm in business strikes?

I believe that it is the norm.
The coins grading gem and up are not the norm in business strikes though.
The rims protect the surface by design, but they are still looked at when grading a coin.

Let me share something with a few of you who may not be aware of it.

The 2004 P & D Keelboat and Peace Commemorative nickels stand a great chance of becoming some of the most sought after business strikes in the years to come. Reason being............or perhaps I should ask if anyone here already knows why.

Mint set's without the satin finish on them and no banged up rim's. Just a guess. image

I'm with the 65 crowd... but hope I'm a point too low since I usually am from pictures.
