1970 D washington DDR? or just shelf doubling? any washie experts? a lot of pics

i looked on coneca but i found no photos to use for comparison. pics are from a point and shoot with macro and full zoom. thanks

It it were a DDR with that much rotation, the tops of the A and M in AMERICA would look like they had 2 points. That notching isn't present on this coin...

The quarter doubled dies aren't as easy to find as the doubled die dimes but they can be found with a moderate amount of searching. A bonus is the ones in the Mint sets are early die state examples. One thing that may complicate the search is that many of the Mint sets have already been checked but it's still the best place to look.
