  Not proofs... Just business strikes struck with apparent proof dies.

  Those apparent proof dies sold at heritage last year for 40K in pr64. What am I missing other than a proof designation?

  Proof dies were sometimes used on circulating coin production...ie Type B Washington Quarters, the resulting coins are not proofs.

  And he said it was part of his coin collection.... Dang Ebay sellers! I bought it for my type set, I liked the toning for a peace dollar.
