New Seated Half

I think I noted here that I didn't buy much at the ANA Show, there were no commems that spoke to me and I was a little overwhelmed with trying to make a choice with only a couple of hours left to do it.
So I was happy to come home and almost immediately see that our own Mark Feld had new pieces on his web site, here is the half, care to guess the grade? I will post it later.
I usually mention where I get my pieces if they get posted, I don't feel I'm acting as a shill, I feel that I deal with honest people and good work should be recognized.image

Very pretty half and a great date. I will not guess the grade as I also was looking at it on Mark Felds website.

Board members love to know which coins came from which dealers and it is in no way shilling!

I like the cameo contrast. The first picture looks gorgeous. The second picture seems to show a lot of hairlines though.
Not sure which photo is more accurate, as I'd guess widely different grades based on them.

    Yowza!

    PR62? 63?

Obverse does look CAM, or nearly so.

Nice, regardless of the numerical grade.

Assuming those are die polishing marks, I will guess pr-65. Very, very nice, I love the color and the strike....image

  • And the grade is....TaDa...PR62 but it sure has the eye appeal of a higher grade, it appears to be some hairlines in the field that resulted in that grade, I can live with it.image

Very nice looking for a PR62. I have a '90 with similar color, also from Mr. Feld, IIRC:
