That's basically my thoughts (to the extent that I can think while looking at the catalog), but the words I'd want to use are censored here.

I was pretty impressed too, I love the format they used to feature the two collection in the one volume. Don't tell anyone but I might have to bid on a couple of clips from those collections. image

P.S.: No disrespect to the current auction, but I still think the standard bearer for error large cents was the Michael Arconti collection, that catalog is worth finding if you can.
Incomplete planchets wanted, especially Lincoln Cents & type coins.

Yeah I saw a couple I really liked, but was more so impressed with the layout of the catalog.

BS, I agree, when I got mine, I thought the same thing - what amazing errors! And it's a great catalogue, as well as a wonderful resource!!!

I'm curious if you put the catalog face up on your mahagony side-table (next to your overstuffed chair) with the Davy cover showing, or the Holmes cover showing. I will reserve my response until I hear from others.

Obviously you need to break out the rotating turntable so you can display it vertically under the glass dome......

Thanks everyone for the kind words, I appreciate it. It has been a pleasure photographing as well as laying out the catalogs for the Dan Holmes Collections and The Davy Collection.

I have just started shooting the Dan Holmes Collection, The Late Dates. Can I say stunning!!!!! Look for it beginning of 2011.

If anyone has any questions of if I can help at all please let me know.
