"Hey...that was my coin!"

It's early in the morning and I am am cruising eBay before the dogs awake and I notice a coin that looks promising. I open the listing and focus on the images of a nice Capped Bust half in PCGS-25. I look at the holder and ... hey, I recognize the writing. The half still has my attribution sticker on it! A while back I sold it to a dealer who must have sold it to another dealer who now has it posted on eBay. Interesting ... at least to me ... early on a Saturday morning.

Uh oh ... I hear barking. image

That happened to me once with a 1806/5 quarter. It was in a PCI slab, and I sold it on eBay. Years later I saw the same coin in a PCGS slab at a show- I was positive it was the same coin because there were some marks that made it distinctive, at least to me.

I have seen my coins with my writing on the holder for sale on ebay many, many times. Often they will even use my photos.

If he liked it enough to buy it the first time, he might throw out a bid to own it again. Could there be the possibility of seller's remorse?

How is the pricing on it now compared to when you sold it?

The price was not that much higher than my original price.
