I'm thinking of going. I also am wondering since live on the West coast is the show as big or bigger(better) the Long Beach show.
    How is it different?

As a dealer I setup at the first two Coinfest shows. I liked it because other than Boston it's the only major Northeast show and has a unique profile (full disclosure: I am originally from the Northeast).

What's different? Most of the attendees for starters. You won't see them at any other show nor will you see many of the dealers.

You never know what kind of deals there are to be made or what kind of coins you will come across.

Check it out (you might see some nice fall colors as well).

Thanks Don, I'm very glad to hear PCGS will be there - it's always a major draw to have you guys at a show! This will be my first CoinFest so I'm pretty excited to set up there myself. And since it's just a few days before the Baltimore show, I figured I just stick around on the east coast and see some of the beautiful sites and landmarks way over there on the other side of the country!

I am planning on attending. I woudl be delighted to meet Mr. Willis. If both Mr. Willis and Mr. Hall attend, that would be a frothy frenzy in the making.

I think this is too long for a bumper sticker.

    Here is an interesting suggestion.

Perhaps for those that submit at Coinfest could opt to pick up their coins at the Baltimore show after PCGS grades them?

Sort of a 7 day turnaround. Perhaps an in-between special price that PCGS could come up with only because the two shows are only a week apart.

PCGS, what do you guys think?

Oreville, this is an interesting idea. Lets see if we can make it work.

I am thinking that any coin submitted at Coinfest under the Express service level would be available for pickup in Baltimore by Friday afternoon.

Is anybody interested in such a deal?

Sound like an excellent idea. NGC already provides a similar service.

It does make sense to me for sure. I have a bunch of NGC slabbed coins that I would like to cross to PCGS on such a program. I would have to pay for the express fee anyway on a bunch of them so I might as well as try to save a little on the postage. LOL.

I imagine the "show gold" serivice with a minimum of 10 gold coins ($45 fee) with a 2 day turnaround would be available in Baltimore even sooner than Friday?

Hmmm, this concept now makes having the Coinfest show a week before Baltimore more interesting....

    Jon:

Will there be any early morning/coffee Saturday lecture event like you had last year?
