Nice coins, but they definitely look like they were recovered from the water after a period of time submerged

Both look like the belonged to a collector who resided in the desert of New Mexico during the Manhattan Project A-Bomb test
Although a problem coin I kinda like that 41-C.

Both have severely negative eye appeal.

Don't care for the 52-O, but as Broadstruck pointed out the the 41-c isn't too shabby.
I would send them into NCS for conservation. Both appear to be seawater recoveries as many others stated.

The coins look great, and I expect them to clean up very easily. Nice find!

I suppose the 1852-O is perhaps one of the most available $20 from New Orleans- this one may not be as bad as it looks
