Is PCGS doing "First Strike" on the 2010 Plat Proofs?

  I bought one of the 2009's last year. I wish my budget would allow me to purchase this year's offering even though I'm not to psyched about the design. With an overall mintage of 10000, what will that do for the long term appreciation of the 2009? Is the rest of the series slated to be at a mintage of 10000 as well?

  I'm sure they are. The cutoff date would be 30 days after 8/12, as discussed in the other thread. --Jerry

  Sept 10th seems like a strange date, since none have yet shipped.
  
  I thought it was 30 days after 1st ship, not order date.

  All 2009 Plat proofs are First Strike eligible. With this issue selling out very soon, all 2010s should be FS eligible also.

  Remember Proof Plats (50) pieces were available on the floor of the ANA at the US Mint Booth on 8/12
  
  Thus the clock started ticking on 8/12
