PSA/DNA Question

If an ebay seller has a COA from PSA/DNA how do you know the card matches the certificate - does PSA/DNA somehow sticker the card?

see the link for an example...

I guess if I read the COA it says "The item has been permanently marked with... invisible ink..."

my question is now how the heck can we and tell from and ebay picture is there is invisible ink on the card?

There is generally a sticker on the back of the card with the matching serial number.

The seller (b-e-collectibles) is quite reputable. If you have any issues, I'm certain that Joe will make it right...

thanks guys... just seems silly for PSA to not slab the cards. Do you know if you could send the card back to PSA and just pay for the slabbing??

It is the submitters choice to have the card slabbed or not.

You can send the card in to have it slabbed (blue label $10 plus return shipping) if you choose. please remember to send in the COA with the item. You will not get the COA back as the encapsulation and label then become your COA.

If an item has a COA (small cert) rather than an LOA (full letter) there should be a sticker on the item whose alpha numeric number should match the COA.

Cool thanks Carol... would it be possible to send the card in for a red flip and I would only pay for card grading?
