Here's an 8 on ebay right now with an opener of 10 bucks and no takers.

Were all the factory sets produced that year gold hologramed? Not sure.

A forum member here sold his complete set to another member back in 2008. The second member broke it up and sold the singles for a fair price ( I bought 8 singles for my collection). I didn't buy the Jeter, so maybe he could sell it to you if he still has it. I'll send him a PM about this thread, and if he has it still for sale, he can post here.

Though, that complete set on ebay may be the best option if the price stays down.
I collect Vintage Cards, Commemorative Sets, and way too many vintage and modern player collections in Baseball (180 players), Football (175 players), and Basketball (87 players). Also have a Dallas Cowboy team collection.

Oops--I just reviewed my PM's with the other member--and he kept the Jeter for his personal collection (it graded a PSA 9) and sold enough of the other cards to get all his investment back.

Hey Akbar, that was me LOL

Actually, I ended up getting distracted and only sold a few other cards than what I sold you. Got a few of em graded besides the Jeter. My Piazza PSA 10 brought good money. Yeah, the Jeter is for my own collection. I think its one of the more rare and undervalued Jeter's.

And its funny this came up cuz I just took my remaining cards out of storage getting ready to put up for sale again within the next month.

So if anyone else is looking for singles, let me know and I'll see what I can do for you.

I would be interested in a Billy Ashley, J.T. Snow and Tim Salmon if they are in the same condition as your Piazza. I'm looking to add a 9 or 10 for each of those cards to my collection. Let me know!

I'd prefer (when we get the available funds) to get the set without the Jeter, then get the Jeter later as a graded card.

I'll check on them in the next day or two for you. Im in the middle of my work week (and at work right now) and working 12 hour midnight shifts is a bit rough for getting things done during the day. But I will definately get back to you on those. Do you have the numbers of those players?

They are all part of the Star Rookies subset. They are numbers 22, 23, and 25. Thanks and let me know when you get a chance!
