Ikea, yeah. It was 60 bucks (plus 10 for the light). When I saw it I knew it would fit perfect! You'd think I lived in Texas with the group I put in there for the picture, but nope. I live in Orlando.
and that 60 bucks is the everyday price at Ikea btw

<< <i>Got that same case a few weeks ago. Where'd you get the light for it? I plan on getting one but haven't looked around yet

Zep,
For some reason, I've heard that those cases are one of the items that Ikeas in my area frequently change the prices on. Supposedly, the Ikeas are individually owned and can set their own prices and don't have to follow the franchise's mantra. You can buy them off the website, but then you have massive shipping. I think the Ikea in Frisco (just North of Dallas), occasionally puts them on sale for that price, but it's usually one day events, and the Ikea in Houston, will occasionally put them on sale for that, but they sometimes limit you to just 1 unit. Those display cases are quite popular on one of the other boards I frequent and is the only reason I even knew that they were perhaps an Ikea item. They make great looking display cases!!!

I didn't actually go to Ikea to get mine. I sent our driver from work to pick up 3 of them. 2 for work and 1 for me. But I did call them before sending him on the hour and a half drive to make sure they had enough in stock. I did ask the guy at the time if that's the everyday price and he said it was. And also that they sell a ton of them. Might want to double check at your closest one about that. I wouldn't think they would be able to sell them for more than their own company website. Franchised or not, they should still have to follow company procedures. Maybe a talk with the manager would straighten that out. I live in Mass BTW. One of these weekends I'm gonna drive up there myself and get another one. I'll check on the lights at the same time.

Great deal on that case. I would have guessed closer to a $100.
Not sure if being a franchise matters. For example, your local McDonald's doesn't have to do whatever TV promotion is running nation wide or how Walmart will price things differently...in the same town but different stores.

The light looks great but a halogen bulb like that will 100% for sure discolor the helmet and fade the autograph, you probably were planning to anyways but use the light sparingly.

Yep, that's the one.
The only thing about it weighs a ton! It's likely a two guy lift, fyi.
<< <i>Ikea's are not individually owned and they are actually privately held, and are a pioneer in corporate responsibility.

Yes, honestly I am not going to put a helmet on the top tier. I thin I'll only put one or two helmets in it honestly. I just did that for the picture. Since I'm trying to offload the helmets I'm going to try to make them look as nice as possible, and that case helps.
