Jeter's Defense

Most of you know that Jeter greatly improved his defense last year, and ranked in the middle of the pack for SSs (14th per The Fielding Bible). I checked to see if his improvement has caried over to this year. It has. He continues to rank in the middle (17th through yesterday). I am really impressed that he could make the leap this late in his career.

Very possible. And who knows? Maybe Palmeiro can also snag another GG for his stellar work with the leather at 1B this year for the O's.

I had no intention of being cryptic. I was just curious about the improvement.
