what is the value of a 2009-p Washington quarter Puerto Rico satin finish PCGS SP69?

any ideas?

Hard to say. A few pop 1 and 2 (fairly recent edition) state quarters just recently sold for roughly $2,800- $5,000 and those were only graded MS68. Also, it appears the coins may have even traded higher... there were multiple buyers at those levels as surprising as that may sound to you. In fact, I suspect from what I hear some would have traded higher if they were not sold in private treaties to the "first guy responding".

WOW!!! Lower pop coin regardless of 68 versus 69 still a more valuable coin is it not?? pop1 or 2 versus pop 5, Supply and demand seems to dictate a higher price.

So what does a pop 5 modern Washington go for?

Badboy: Yes, MS69SF coins can be an entirely different animal. Take for example the recent MS69SF Alaska that currently lists at $1,500. That coin is pop 9. If it was pop 5, I would not be too surprised if the Price Guide showed $2,500. I hope this helped you. Clad quarters can be worth even more as pop 5 coins.

There are only five slots on the finest list in the registry. That fact might come into play sometimes.
