You Suck! Awarded 6/2008- 1901-O Micro O Morgan, 8/2008- 1878 VAM-123 Morgan, 9/2022 1888-O VAM-1B3 H8 Morgan | Senior Regional Representative- ANACS Coin Grading. Posted opinions on coins are my own, and are not an official ANACS opinion.
It's possible that the images and lighting are throwing me off, but my grade guess is AU55. The luster appears to be subdued, and there looks to be la touch of wear on Liberty's breasts, thigh, leg and torch, as well as on areas of the eagle's wings.
Thanks, guys. I welcome more opinions. There are no wrong answers
I just got done checking similar pieces on HA. Wow. I'll take a 50 or thereabouts on this piece (got it for melt +8%), but some of the 62 & 63 and at least one 64 PCGS examples of the 1914 are bagmarked to the point of domestic abuse.
I honestly think I'd rather have her than any low MS example I saw on HA.
Is the 1914 not considered a key or semi-key even with its low mintage? Looks like little if any premium according to the PCGS priceguide.
Worth sending her in, or should I just enjoy her as VF double plus good?

There is virtually no price spread for that date until it gets up to MS62. So, if you are confident in the opinions of those who grade it less than MS62, you should save your dough and not get it graded.
I was at 50 until I saw the reverse, then thought probably 55 or 58. The 63 doesn't surprise me much; not being a student of the series, I couldn't determine if the obverse weakness was wear or a weak strike...clearly NGC believes it to be a weak strike.
In the words of HRH : "Go long on gold". Good timing. There isn't a saint I sold yet that I haven't regretted. Wouldn't it be nice to build a complete set, even without the '33 ?

Looks way better than a MS63 Morgan.
Nice follow up.
