Help Me Decide - Review or Not

This might be one of the nicest centered 35 Chicles I have ever seen. In all of your trained eyes, is it worthy of a review try? Thanks to Keith

Got a scan of the back?

PS - As everyone knows....reviews tend to be a huge money vacuum. Rarely anything gets bumped. To get a bump, you are gonna have to crack it out. I don't know about you, but me personally, I would NOT want to crack out a high grade vintage card. Knowing my luck, it would come back MINIMUM SIZE REQD......

Have not had a chance to scan the back. It is clean and centering the same as front. And I agree with you, Bobby, there is no way I would crack this out for a review.

Did you use a loop before subbing? I was curious if any of the corners might be lightly touched and we just can't tell from the scan? IMO, if there are no surface flaws that you noticed under some good light and if the corners are fine, I don't think the tilt is enough to warrant a grade drop to an 8. The tilt is so minor, its borderline irrelevant. Gotta be something else.

The card was a crossover from a SGC 8. Corners are still sharp with maybe very, very minor paper loss one or two.

Registration is the only slight flaw I see.

    Nice clean NRMT/MINT.

It is a nice card. I am not sure the price on a review, but I would likely try it. A .5 bump would bring some pretty good $, the card would not be out of a place in an 8.5.

Collecting PSA graded Steve Young, Marcus Allen, Bret Saberhagen and 1980s Topps Cards.
Raw: Tony Gonzalez (low #'d cards, and especially 1/1's) and Steve Young.

Would PSA bump a card that was already graded under the half point system and deemed not worthy?

"Would PSA bump a card that was already graded under the half point system"

I wonder how many have sent in high grade vintage already graded with the new system and received a bump upon review? I wondered this many times.

There is a small chance at a .5 bump because it is centered nice. If you're looking to sell think about what you have in the card, what it will sell at the current grade, and if you would be OK losing the money from a review if the card doesn't come back an 8.5.

    Good luck, keep us posted.
