I need some help please.

I have 6 Franklin Mint medals each has 42 grains of .500 fine gold.

How much gold is in these 6 medals??

    I would add, 42 grains of .500 fine means to me that you have 21 grains of gold or 1.36 grams agw (actual gold weight).

    1.36 grams / 31.1 grams per troy ounce = 0.044 troy ounces of gold. About the amount of gold found in a U.S. gold dollar.

    Those must be some tiny medals!

    Yes red they are small, actually they look to be close to the size of the $5 ASE.

    So I have 21 grains agw in each medal.

    I bought these at a local auction back in 03 for $6.66 each....................works for meimage

    A little OT, but that is by far the BEST PM calculator out there IMO. I have it in my "Favorites" toolbar for quick reference & use it often. I like it better than Coinflation because it does everything including most major foriegn coins.
