Opinion on 1883 No Cents Nickel Please

Good evening Ladies and Gentlemen , again i apologise for my absence of late as i had a bit of an accident and its taken a while to get things together.I especially apologise and have done personally via PM to Wrigley Cub as we were mid way through a transaction when this came about.In all fairness its the only time ive fell through on a deal and im sure there are several out there would concur ive had excellent transactions in my time here.
That being said , id like to ask opinions on this coin.My concerns are not so much with the coin itself but more in the manner of how i got it.It weighs 5g which is correct and it looks like it was minted an hour ago,im no expert but have a great fondness for nickels and i just cant get comfortable with this one.
Could i please solicit opinion on it and put it to rest
A. Is it UNC
B. Is it genuine.

Many thousands of these were saved at the time of issue, and are very plentiful in mint state condition. I have little doubt your specimen is fine. Far and away the most common V nickel to find in AU and Unc.
You may want to try and dab that spot on the rev rim with some acetone or something, before you put it away in your Dansco album or wherever.
