I enjoyed reading this post and learned a few things.
If a company treats its customers well, like we heard from CDsNuts and Akuracy, it will attract more customers either directly or indirectly. After reading this, I am more confident in buying PSA cards. If ever I suspect a counterfeit card in a slab, I know that I can rely on PSA to help me.
Akuracy,
I am glad you got yourself compensated and taking that incorrectly graded card out of circulation. If the card was a product of WIWAG, PSA should have determined that. They made the investigation and found it was their mistake. Case closed. Nice job by PSA and you!
CDsNuts,
Good for you to honor that $100 gift card. Has it ever occured to you that maybe the reason the lady did not come back was because she passed away, moved to another state, got disabled, etc. Since you made her really happy, I am sure if people asked her where a good restaurant it, she would easily say the one where her gift card was honored. There have been times when I was happy with the service of a business, but did not return for several reasons, but along the way, it was the business I recommended to everyone else and know for a fact that many did take my recommendations and were happy about it (they probably recommended others too in turn). It works the opposite too. Treat one customer bad, then a lot of negative publicity gets out.
