Deion Sanders?? You gotta be kidding! I'd rather watch grass grow than spend a nano-second with this bozo.

Don't judge a book by it's cover. Deion actually is a pretty cool guy. I was working as a bellman at the hotel he stayed out during spring training in 1995 . He was very nice to me and the rest of the staff. He signed 3 balls, 2 hats and a couple of programs and asked me if I wanted more. Just a side note he's probably one of the best cover guys to every play the game.

I don't think the OP needed the sarcastic/harsh responses...like any other BST post if you aren't interested, move on.
Looking for rare Randy Moss rookies and autos, as well as '97 PMG Red Football cards for my set.

You should heed your own words...unless of course you're the self-appointed Hall Monitor. When someone posts a topic, the poster is opening himself/herself up for responses, good, bad or indifferent. As long as posting guidelines are not broken, it's pretty much free speech.

Hall Monitor? No. It's called courtesy - call me an idealist in expecting at least that from fellow board members. Just because you CAN do something does not mean it is necessary to do so. OP was not even posting a topic - it was a straight 'sale' without any expressed opinion posted or requested. I don't think that is opening oneself up to such negative feedback. Or is that cool if I just post 'Your cards suck!' unprompted in every BST thread?

That is always cool to hear about an athlete and I agree about being one of the best cover guys.
  • #1 If your not interested in the item for sale, Move on.
No Sense throwing a negative vibe into the OP's Sale post.
Use your freedom of speech to start your own "I hate Deion" Thread.

#2 No Doubt the guy was the Greatest shutdown corner the NFL has ever seen. Teams literally would not even
attempt to throw to that side of the field. Ive never saw that kind of dominance before or since.

Just because you CAN do something does not mean it is necessary to do so.

That is exactly the point of my first post, how myopic of you not to see the light. So, although you COULD do something, you chose to act, didnt' you? Kinda hypocritical, no?

It is not your place, nor mine, or anyone elses to chastise follow-up posts to an OP because your values think they committed some fault or offense. That you choose to become a courtesy monitor may be commendable, but is out of place when the posters have every right to post as they have, right or wrong. Because your moral compass may obviously disagree with the posts (including mine) does not give you carte blanche to challenge those who choose to post as they do.

FWIW, I've lived in Atlanta for over 20 years and endured the Prime Time BS for as long as Sanders was here. He was a selfish egotist who had momentary flashes of brilliance, he thought the Falcons revolved around him and I quickly became disenchanted with the team and cancelled my season tickets.

Your analogy of posting "your cards suck", isn't one I've seen on the BST boards unprompted in every?? BST thread. Dumb, very dumb statement...just ain't so!!!

I doubt your id will allow you to let this go, so you may have the last word...I'm done here.
