Nickel Rolls - US Treasury $1 rolls
Have you ever seen $1 rolls of Nickels. These are marked as US Treasury, Washington DC... appear to be original, unopened rolls.

The odds of finding a high quality coin is really too slim to ruin the value of those rolls by opening them. But yes, very tempting. It can also be looked at this way, how copper carbonate wants to change back into the copper ore that it came from. Depends on how humid the storing conditions were after all these years. And from what I can see from the end rolls, carbon spotting has taken place and may have damaged the inner coins as well. Personally, since I already have those dates in high grade, I wouldn't be inclined to open them.
