An extra drop of silver?

On a 1934-D Peace dollar........sorry, no picture
On the Reverse, near the rim is a small drop of what appears to be original silver.
It is to the right of the tip of the tail feather, just about the same distance from the tip
as the D is from the tip, on the other side. Also, the same size as the D.
It is round at the base, pointed at the top, as seen thru a16X glass.

I've never seen this on a dollar. Have you?
Any advice will be appreciated.

Good explanation. Do need a pic to go further however.

    Could it be a cud?

My first thought since it's near the rim would be a "cud", but your description leaves me wondering if it might be a die break. I haven't a clue, but you've done a masterful job of putting me in suspense. Thanks for that image
