This just came in the mail today for the Anacs Cert. type set. What are your thoughts on the coin as to grade and overall appearance?

I'll give you mine later.

64, unless there is something hidden under the tone I just can't see. Amazing that wasn't dipped over the last 90 years

Is this the one you posted about a week ago?

stolen! that thing looks to be a 65 on those images.

also, nice original skin i should add. might not be the prettiest thing, but the technical grade is pretty far out there!

Allthough the toning is not super fantastic rainbow or anything like that, I actually like the originallity of this Peace. (pun intended) It would be a shame to remove what mother nature took 90 years to give this coin.

  • That's a GREAT coin! I like it a lot.

EDIT: I just went back and checkout the seller pics you posted before - I think you did very well. The original pics didn't do the coin very much justice and really bleached out the toning and color.

I really like the look of this coin. My favorite 28-P has similar originality.

I posted the sellers photos a few days ago. They didn't really show the coin all that well.

Yes, I agree these pics are much better.

Looks good for 64. I know the original grade and it does seem a touch low.

Anacs graded the coin MS63/63 in 1985. I believe it to be correctly graded.

On a side not, this is the first one of these I've seen with an Anacs photo certificate since I began collecting them a few years back. Then all of the sudden another pops up in the span of a week.

    Here is the other.

    1921 Peace
